3 major building block flaws of this team

Reposting this with some changes.
1) Horrid 2021 recruiting class
Pearson and Dutton are only kids left from that class. Meanwhile the #1 player in Louisiana that year is hitting lead off for #1 team in country. (Stovall)
We are lacking Juniors who are playing for big MLB contracts. (I don’t count White in this)
2) Poor development of pitching depth. Guidry, Coleman, Bronzini, Johnson, Hurd, Ack, Loer, Little, Woods and Buckman, Jump all have ERAs over 5.00
If Noot and Shores were healthy this would be a different staff.
Hurd and Ack are 3-8 combined and half our loses. (Ack should have lift Tenn game)
3) Failure of Kling and Neal
We were only going to go as far this year as these two would take us. And obviously they failed at taking the next step.
*These things are debatably not Jay’s fault. He did recruit the 2021 class, didn’t bring in a hand full of those pitchers and did recruit Neal and Kling.

Be careful. Neal can hit. I mean really hit. I have no idea what we are basing that on but Neal can really really hit.

Pretty much everyone on this team is capable of hitting nukes when they guess right on 90 mph fastballs down the middle.
There's about 1 that can consistently do it with breaking balls and his name is Thomas "Tommy Tanks" White.

Pretty on point overall.
It can’t be understated how disappointing it is that Hurd never put it together.

Neal and Kling are gone after this year. How well Jay balances pitchers from the portal and high school kids will decide a lot.

Are they? Why do you think that, because they are draft eligible? I am not sure anyone is drafting them.
Jones is also draft-eligible and he will probably be gone after this year

Pitching isnt the reason LSU has lost the last 3 series,TIMELY HITTING
has been the problem. You hit the ball with men on base you score and put
alot more pressure on the opponent.Thats nonexistent this season.Hell
LSU lost 3-1 sat .and were in every game late but not getting the bats going
has killed them.

Neal was an absolute stud last year before getting hurt. He needs a permanent position - catcher - in order to get into a rhythm. Moving around to various defensive positions can affect your hitting.

I thought Kling was a CPM recruit whom CJJ inherited? I do know CJJ has spoken highly of Kling.
Also, hasn't Woods been hurt? IDK if I would include him with that group.

He hit .209 in 26 starts last year. I guess one could argue he was on an upward trajectory when he got hurt.
But much like Kling, it has not all come together for him.
