From watching the video, I don't see that the glove fully doesn't fit. Yes it's tight and he struggled to put it on, but he did successfully put it on. Besides, who says someone can't commit a crime while wearing small gloves?

Then when we consider that the glove was blood soaked and he had latex gloves on already,I really don't see how that was successfully used as this big smoking gun.

They are also leather gloves, which will shrink if not worn in a while. Also, leather tends to shrink when it gets wet and isn't stored properly.

He 100% did it but this was a huge win for the defense in perception.
