They’re not extremely common but there’s still quite of few of them all over Alabama. Apparently some people call it the Carolina squat so I guess it’s a thing in one or both those states as well

I have a cousin who has a truck like that. He’s like 25 and a welder in Prairieville. Posts a ton of pictures of his truck jacked up with lights underneath and whatnot.
Also has a huge intake pipe on his 4-wheeler and loves to post videos of him and his friends, with girls (!), driving the 4-wheelers through water up above the handlebars.
Definitely not something I grew up around but he’s a good kid and seems to be staying out of trouble with it all.
