I’m just saying all the womenz in AZ will forsure hit the ballot box in November which would be a massive hill for Trump.
This is the correct way to read the issue with the ruling.

Why would he have a massive hill to climb
-Suburban Independents and women hate him
-The majority of the state doesn't like him
-He has a horrific candidate running for Senate that won't be able to pull him over the finish line, just like in 2020 with McSally
People forget that Trump performed terribly in Arizona in 2016. He got only 48.7% of the vote and he needed John McCain and Congressional Republicans to pull him across the finish line. McCain outperformed him by over 100,000 votes.

So a law that has been on AZ's books since 1864 yrs is somehow Trump's fault?
makes perfect sense.

I hope he did lol, it was his home state.

Not Trump’s fault at all.
Just saying there will be increased motivation from traditional democrap voters

The counter to that is that Trump faced a much weaker Democratic opponent (Hillary) and unlike McCain, he wasn't cognitively impaired then and he still badly underperformed him.

He said just the other day that overturning Roe was his fault. This law (on the books before Arizona was a state and before women could vote) was not enforceable until Trump got Roe overturned.
So, yeah, his upcoming loss is squarely on his shoulders here.

Quick question: Is abortion even on the ballot in AZ?

On the ballot? no
On 25-50% of their political commercials? probably

Doesn’t matter.
Anything other than constant and unquestioning sunshine pumping for Trump will bring you a torrent of downvotes here.
This place is becoming like some off-brand subreddit for the zealots.

Kinda late to get a law drawn up and through the courts to get to the printer and the whole process in time for November.

This is why it's bad for Trump.

Arizonans will likely vote to make abortion a right
That’s exactly what the Dobbs decision allowed
for
“ we hold that the abortion issue is reserved for the states, their people, and their elected representatives”
Federalism is a beautiful thing isn’t it?

SFP, I like you mostly,
But your insistence that the gop become a pro choice party is dumb
There is nothing wrong with having a federalist position on the matter
Bill Clinton didn’t become right wing on issues, he just became less left wing, to win elections
You can’t see the difference

I’m just annoyed with SFP spamming every thread saying the gop should be a pro choice party
For God’s sake, even the tories across the pond aren’t pro choice
