if they all taste like arse to you then yeah, you're doing something wrong regardless of how many you have kille. I at least try to eat most of the ones I kill and besides a few rank boars they've been great.
I don't care if you're not eating them, they all need to die.

Okay, but what's that got to do with knowing how to properly clean them?
They definitely need to be controlled- that's a given. But they do indeed have a redeeming factor most pests don't. The back strap from a feral hog (for example) is first rate. Many believe it's superior to deer. Try it, if you haven't. If you truly don't care for it, I'd really be surprised. There's certainly tons of it out walking around just ripe for the taking.

You're screwing something up. Small ones taste no different than regular pork.
Stop gut shotting them and letting them run.
