Having said that, the wolf seems rather unharmed beyond having his muzzle taped.

He ran it to exhaustion with a snowmobile then ran it over. I'm guessing he broke it's back and that's why he was able to tape it up. He could have just killed it quickly then. Instead, he drove it around town and showed it off at a bar. Not really unharmed. He intentionally prolonged it's suffering instead of killing it humanely.

Seems like you'd be more against this sort of thing. IRRC I've seen you be against cruelty to animals on the OB quite a few times.

I am. And One of my previous hunters learned what my rather meaty fist to the face feels like because of it.

Having said that, if the thing eas just exhausted and had its muzzle taped, my GAF meter isnt registering. Broken back and squealing in pain, yeah, I don't support it, and he should have killed it immediately.

But I'm equally unwilling to transmute the human emotion of embarassment to a predator who was run to exhaustion and subdued. Hell, we used to catch alligators, tape the mouths up, and then let them loose in the shop while we did everything else to get ready to deal with it.
