That was a crazy time to grow up right behind the Ozzie An Harriet, Leave it to Beaver, Andy Griffith, etc days.
A generation said frick it and did what they wanted to do however they wanted to do it.
Think we’re seeing weird things happening today? Try living through that transition.

The transition between 1963 and 1969 is the craziest 6 years in modern history IMO

You mean the ones who could afford it. The vast majority of that generation lived normal working lives with normal responsibilities.

Wtf?
Bc people had alot more freedoms back then. The generation now doesn't even see the laws that have been put in place. Freedom of speach is gone to shite, Privacy is totally gone, Face recognition software everywhere. And we as citizens give to to them with our phones when you use that shite to unlock them. Using finger prints etc. It's all collected and stored. Even growing up in the late 70s and early 80s was the best of times hands down. frick the world and this society in the usa that's been created by all this Woke, Pussy arse generation. They want to be heard but don't want to hear it back. Fragile little counts. Imagine these kids actually having to protect this country if we were ever invaded. Or if a real catastrophe happened and had to survive for a year or longer off the land, without Google. Done wiped the frick out! This country us to be a proud Nation and stood up against outsiders, now the fricks stand with communist and terrorists and belittle there own country. We're a laughing stock around the world and the rest of the world hates us, even our allies hate us. Anyway life was way easier back then and most of yall couldn't make it with snapchat

If the same kids did that today, they would be called right-wing extremists by the media

And spawned such lovelies as the divorce/latchkey kid era, a massive increase in STD’s (hello, Herpes!), and funded vast south of the border narco empires that still bedevil us.
Bad choices have worse consequences.
