No apparent make-up on that girl. Dang, she was pretty. Mesmerizing.

If the same kids did that today, they would be called right-wing extremists by the media

The transition between 1963 and 1969 is the craziest 6 years in modern history IMO
Ironically the exact years of Beatles albums here.

I just rewatched “Forrest Gump” on Apple TV, there’s a short end to a scene that’s edited out on the TV version that I’d forgotten about. In the scene where Forrest visited Jenny* at her college and they sneak into her dorm room. Jenny shows him her boobs. And he really REALLY liked seeing them. So much that he evidently splooges into Jenny’s roommate’s sweater prompting the line “I think I ruint your roommate’s sweater.” Jenny replies “It’s OK, I don’t like her anyway.” Then the camera pulls back to show the roommate's face scared as she’s fake sleeping in the same room.

You have this backwards. She didn't deserve Forrest.

I’m just here to say Jenny is one of the most vile characters I’ve ever seen. She’s portrayed as this victim when in reality she was a selfish bitch that used people, especially a mildly retarded, good-hearted man for his money only after she was no longer desirable

I actually know a woman who was a "groupie" from the 60s.

She is just plain weird.

We had several girls like that in our school. Of the 4 i remember 3 looked a lot like that girl. Very pretty. Quiet. Didn't speak in class. None or just a little makeup. Never dated jocks, just musicians. Would never see them at parties after they got over about 15 years old. Easy to fall for. Liked older guys. If they spoke to you, one on one, very sweet and guarded. If you ever 'dated" them (I didn't) you were gonna have sex, because them accepting a date was equal to them saying yes to sex. But then, if you got on their bad side you could expect your vehicle to get keyed or just get beat up by thugs. Very selective in their sense of humor. Disappeared after graduating. Cool times.

‘68 was an interesting year..I graduated from HS, started college, had my first job, lost my virginity…RFK and MLK assassinated…all within about a 4 month period.

That clip is from the 1970 documentary Groupies

I don't know what it is about anything made in the 1970s, film or show wise, but it looks like no one knew how to take a bath during that time.

She is indeed drop-dead gorgeous. She does seem to deflect alot. Probably pulled a train on 10 Years After. Reminds me of a Hoyt Axton song Idol of the Band

Naw, they smelled good at school. Usually some type of flower-smell. Don't know how they smelled on weekend.

And Gen Z Grasshoppers can't understand why old farts look askance at their arrogance and dismissive indignation.
