My wife and I just left Rome, and are currently in Capri.
In Rome, we found the best single thing we did was a private golf cart tour of the city. It was just us and the driver. He asked what we had seen and what we were interested in, then gave us a custom trip around the city. He stopped at a few spots for us to explore at our pace, or just drove past some spots that we had already seen. The total trip was 3 hours, and that was perfect. It gave us a great starting point for anything else we wanted to tour.
It was “Turtle Tours”, but we booked it through The Tour Guy.
