Anyone here into 3D printing?
I'm looking to buy my 1st 3D FDM printer and wondering about other's experiences. I'm specifically looking at Bambu's P1S or X1C.
My biggest "concern" is learning to use the 3D software, old dog learning new tricks and all...

I have an Ender 3 and have had my eye on the P1S so I can focus more on printing and not tinkering with the machine. A lot of people say the lidar on X1C isn't worth the additional cost versus buying the P1S, but I can't say for sure. With the Bambo printers the main learning curve would probably be learning 3d modeling. Cheaper printers have the additional complexity of learning how to tinker with the machine to get it right. With time and some youtube tutorials you should be able to figure out the 3d modeling software. I use the free version of Fusion360.

I have a Bambu and Creality. Love them both but the Bambu is just so convenient

I have a Bambu X1C. Probably about to buy another one. Came from an ender and it’s a huge difference.
AMS is great even if you don’t use it for different colors and materials. Can load 4 spools of same filament and it will automatically move to next spool when you run out of filament.

Yes, I have 9. They all now collect dust. I used to build my own but I will say the Ender 3 is my go to machine when I need prints. It's decent for the price and you learn the basics without spending a fortune.
For software you can use TinkerCAD, FreeCAD, AutoCAd, Blender, etc.

I started with a P1P and upgraded it to a P1S since the enclosure kit wasn't available when I originally purchased the machine.
I haven't had one problem. The only complaint is the camera is trash.
I print ABS, ASA, PLA, Petg.
