Next week… Better check that forecast.
Good chance of rain and clouds for the hill country through N Texas as of the latest models.

Thanks for raining on my eclipse, dick.

That’s why we’re going to Florida for the eclipse.

Memes will be aplenty when it’s cloudy AF

I'm live in a small town in southeast Missouri that is in the 4 minute-ish totality area. We are having a music festival, Jeff Foxworthy is doing a show, Night Ranger is doing a show, Holiday Inn rooms are going for upwards of $1k/night. It's liable to get worse as we are only in an area with 35-ish% chance of rain and cloud cover.

I don't understand the hype but if that's your thing, enjoy!

Even so far out GFS has been locked in on Monday being shite across Texas for a while now. It’ll be cool for it to randomly get dark for 5 minutes but it would suck to not see it.
Though the “average cloud cover” product on GFS that was posted is pretty trash this far out. But it’s a signal that some areas will be bad.

I am supposed to be driving to conway AR for the eclipse, but it looks like rain as well. I'm not driving 7 hrs for cloud cover.

Anyone going out of their way for a simple natural event like this is a retard. Found the retard.

You weren't going to see totality in Conroe anyway.

You think an eclipse is going to be thrilling? Do you enjoy watching paint dry?
