What’s funny is I actually liked this Godzilla a lot. But I also was never a Godzilla fan so I wasn’t attached to any particular style of movie.

It’s not fantastic cinema or anything. But I remember really liking it. I saw it in the theater.

That isn’t saying much.

It was still pretty bad.

The lead was fricking awful, which I attribute to the script, since he isn’t bad in other things.

“Godzilla Minus One” is a great movie, not merely a great Godzilla movie.

However, many in the Millennium series are better than Legendary’s 2014 attempt, so is Toho’s 2016 “Shin Godzilla.”

My enjoyment of “Kong: Skull Island” retroactively made me like the 2014 movie. However, the rest of Legendary’s efforts have left a lot to be desired.


All in my opinion.
