This is going to happen. A lot.

Abreu is a lost cause.

Middle relief is a shite show.

Oh yeah, our 3 - 5 starters are unproven AAAA players.

Gonna disagree. Bold statement here

Hunter Brown is going to be the 2nd best starter this year and good enough to be talked about being the ace next season.

Until that happens, my statement is 100% valid and accurate.

And yeah Ryno, this start was fully predictable. Those Montero and Abreu contracts are going to haunt this franchise for years.

That’s $30MM of sunk money that could have been used at reliable MLB talent.

Both of these games look a lot different if we have Bryan Abreu available in the bullpen

Obviously we can’t rely on the big 3 in the pen every game and have a huge problem in middle relief, but getting Abreu back should help things

I don’t think so.

Pressly stunk last night.

Not-Carlos is not playing gold-glove defense.

The offense has also scored 1 run since the second inning of yesterday's game. The Yankees have hit some with RISP. A novel concept. The Astros should try it.

Ok we're 2 days into the Espada era and this guy is looking worse than dusty. I cannot believe he brought in montero with the bases loaded, what the hell.

This bullpen is trash. Flat out. Losing Neris and replacing him with Hades was a win, but losing maton, stanek and graveman to be replaced by trash like tayler Scott and mushinski is a joke. I get it crane was burned by the montero deal, he should talk to bagwell about that one.

This teams window is closed, this bullpen you can't compete with. Bergman and Abreu are horrible, I think our best bet is to accept Bergman won't resign, ship him to a contender at the deadline and hope for a top 50 prospect. I would love to see the orioles give up something like 2 of the 4 big guns they've got in the minors in bassallo, cowser, mayo, kjerstad for some combo of Bergman, verlander, pressley as they make their World Series push this year. They are where we were in 2017.

It's been a great run, it's time to accept reality and re-stock the farm quick, great franchises like the cardinals do that, others like the royals do not. Unless we want to suffer for another decade we need to accept the reality of where we are. We can remain a very good team. We have Altuve and Jordan locked up, with money we free up dealing Bergman, verlander, and press we can re-sign tuck.

We're not that far off, Javier can still be an ace, so can Garcia, we have a great closer, we have abreu and just need to get some young talent in.

You guys obviously don’t want to hear it from someone like me … but you guys have still got a good team. A scary team to play against.

Make no mistake , I wish you all the worst, but y’all still have a good team

Just mind blowing to me that guys like Maton and Stanek were just unsignable. Even Neris for that matter, considering the deal he ended up getting. And the fricking arrogance/stupidity of this front office thinking no big deal, we’ll just replace them with Mushinski, Martinez etc.

Now while that’s a big enough issue, we’re not beating teams scoring one run. This offense is completely mindfricked in this ballpark and I don’t see how it gets fixed.

First Homerun melt of the season.

Not the tank that Stanton hit off of Bielak.

But definitely a hot pop to the Crawford boxes.

Way to come out of the gate strong.

Crane was interviewed at the Texas children’s open today and after all the fluff golf questions they asked about baseball and he said something along the lines of “there’s 3 things that matter in baseball…pitching, pitching and pitching.” Well I’d love to see what him and Dana are gonna talk about tonight.
