I like my church and state separate. One can still be morally good without intertwining their religion and their country’s politics together. You know the whole separation of church and state.

More or less, people’s moral
Compass has drifted far off.

The destruction of the family I think has more do with the introduction of the internet and its growth over the last 20-30 years. It’s made material more accessible to desensitize people and make them wander away from marriages via social media mostly

I’ve always thought social media is going to be the downfall of society.

Are you aware that separation of church and state is a Christian doctrine. Christians had this law passed and it is a good thing for the church. Christians in the US did not want a repeat of what happened in England in which the government controlled the church. So that is why Christians created the separation of church and state.

Without the Bible and God there is no standards for morality.

The late Athetist…Dr Will Provine on debating Christian Phil Johnson at Stanford university……. “Modern evolutionary biology tells us loud and clear. There are no God’s, no purpose, and no goal directed forces of any kind and no life after death. When I die I’m absolutely certain that I’m going to be dead. That’s the end of me. There is no ultimate foundation for ethics, no ultimate meaning in life, and no free will for humans either.

This is atheism.

Some of us just realize that humans were never meant to be monogamous. Very few people would be satisfied with the same meal every night the rest of their lives. But instead of being honest about it, they'll stop by the chick fil a or In n Out drive thru once a week on their way home and throw away the wrapper in the neighbor's trashcan.
