What percentage of lawyers do you think are D voters?

I can't get a good Google search result for this question but I did get a hit for a website called Open Secrets that lists a few law firms who publicly disclose their political contributions and only one of the 20 firms listed leans Republican, the rest by evidence of their political contributions are decidedly Dim.
Maybe the lawyers on the forum have an idea of lawyer political affiliation by party.

Hmm...depends on what type of law. Corporate attorneys would have a general political bent as opposed to criminal defense and personal injury attorneys I would say.

Wouldn't matter anyway, they will just lie about who they vote for.
SFP, AggieHank and several other Lawyers on this very board SWEAR they don't vote Democrat, but they do.

The only white democrats I regularly come into contact with in the state of Louisiana are Personal Injury Attorneys and Jon Bel Edwards, but I repeat myself.
Most business attorneys, whether commercial litigators or transactional lawyers, lean right.

I think you're correct that small business owners lean right, mid to large corporations are decidedly left.

criminal defense
It's always amusing that "conservatives" who have an eye towards "individual liberties" would assume that criminal defense lawyers are leftists.
Most are probably civil libertarians. I think I may be a frustrated criminal defense lawyer. The only thing that would stop me from doing it, is that most of my clients would be actual criminals and I don't want to represent violent criminals.

My now deceased cousin had a law practice with several locations around the country and at one time an office in Kuwait, he and his wife (both lawyers) were old school Republicans......corporate law/bankruptcy. I have a lawyer niece through marriage that is hard Dim, she represents for personal injury, traffic tickets, DUI and some work place discrimination stuff.

I can tell you factually that the worlds largest law firm is almost 100 percent democrat

Let's assume for discussion that 70-80% of lawyers are D voters, would this also mean that 70% of judges are potentially D voters because most judges were at one lawyers?
If this ^^^ is true then it's obvious the current judicial system is rigged to favor the Fundamental Transformation of America and to squash any attempt by America First/MAGA to pushback against the Fundamental Transformation of America.

You are on the right track. Now apply that to politicians as well. I would suggest the % is closer to 90%

I would dare to say most vote for the candidate who can best help their own financial interests.

King and Spalding.... the firm that produced for us Sally Yates and FBI director Wray would make their employees walk around with masks if they refused the vaccine. Pretty sure that place is raging Marxist.

I find it to be as diverse as other voters.
The huge and influentialJones, Day firm has an entire section devoted to Republican candidates.
