I'm on EP8, so not quite finished, but this is one hell of a documentary series. I love docs and this has proven to be one of the best I've seen.

I’m on the last episode and I’m with you. This is one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen. Really paints a great picture of Russian history and leadership through the turn of the century. I’ve always pictured Russia as a stoic, hardened super power that isn’t to be fricked with but in reality they’ve showed a lot of incompetence in their history. From the coup against Gorbachev that turned into a disaster, Yeltsin being a drunk idiot leader in the 90s, and the clumsy transition into capitalism in the early 90s that caused another famine. Not to say that America hasn’t had its share of downfalls, just never knew those things about Russia

Also, the Uranium transport from Kazakhstan after the Soviet Union fell = holy shite. That would make a great movie
