Cliffs: High fat diets changing the gut microbiome and altering bile acids. Another article has linked natural bacteria in our mouths (dental plaque) to increased colorectal cancers among young people. Something about when people are immunocompromised the normal bacteria can't be dealt with like normal.

High fat diets

I wish they'd be more specific with this. A diet high in trans fats (baked goods, fried foods, etc) is not the same as a diet high in healthy fats (olive oil, eggs, greek yogurt, fish etc) but people throw the baby out with the bathwater when it comes to "fats."

As of 2020, colorectal cancer rates had been dropping for the previous 35 years or so. Though I am not sure if it may have been increasing in younger demographic, but because they make up such a small portion of the people who get that type of cancer it would probably have minimal impact on the overall figues.

Yeah if it’s trans fats but animal fats from humanely raised animals are great for you. We need more regenerative farms throughout the country

I’m going to go with processed foods and ‘sodas’ that are loaded with a ton of fake shite not beef, eggs, steak, etc.

Literally 85% of stuff in grocery stores is loaded with fake artificial sweeteners, preservatives, flavorings, colors, etc. that can’t be good for you.

Processed Food is addictive. That’s food industry’s intention. If you could eat it in moderation, you would have.
