Will Reggie ever be a pro-bowler?

I predict that he will be. He is too dangerous as a return man to not EVER make it.

He'll make 2, maybe 3 in his time

I love Reggie and hope that he does...but it's tough to make the pro bowl playing half seasons. I want to see him play 16 games!!!
eta: a 19 game season would be great too!

once he leaves the Saints, he is a pro-bowler every year..
..thats what every other ex-Saints player does.

No

Dangerous return men are only dangerous for a few years.

Possibly as a punt returner.
The only way he makes it in the NFC as a running back:
AP, M. Turner, Ryan Grant, Steve Slaton, Brian Westbrook, Frank Gore and Matt Forte get hurt. Portis retires. Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams start splitting reps with another running back. Steven Jackson and Kevin Smith's teams continue to suck. Pierre Thomas stops taking away Bush's carries and he scores more rushing TD's than 2 as he did this year.
Oh yeah, no other really good running backs get drafted by NFC teams or sign with NFC teams and SP starts running the ball more.

fwiw I think he should have made it this year. But voters only look at people who return a shitload, and both kickoffs and punts.
Bush only returns punts, and very few at that. 3 TDs, 2 in one game.
He'll make one eventually.

If it was based on merits, Reggie would have made it as a returner this season. Leads the league in return tds and is top 3 in yards per return.

And, he'll never be a Pro Bowler.

Had he not gotten hurt, he could easily have made it as a punt returner. That Monday Night game against Minn. could easily have helped his chances being it was on a national stage. He stays healthy for an entire season then as a returner, it is very much a possibility.

Yes he will
He might even be a pro bowler this year b/c he is a 1st alternate as an NFC return specialist
So be proud Saints fans...b/c who else can say they have a 60 million dollar punt returner who is injured all the time

only chance is as a punt returner, and even in this his window may be closing. He had the 2 returns against Minnesota, but their kick coverage is horrendous. He has way too many unproductive returns to make even this a good bet to make the pro bowl.

Is anyone else realizing that we are talking about Bush, who makes $60 million dollars, and the best we can come up with is that he MAY make a pro-bowl some day as a friggin return man? Seriously? This is why I was against the pick in the first place. The dude is way overpaid for what he does and it hurts the team as far as what it can do financially. Not the only reason as stupidity in the front office can also waste money, but its sad nonetheless.

If we trade him, he'll be a pro-bowler every damn year after, book it!
