LSU won the national title last year and is very much in the mix this year. It seems LSU T&F is still rolling.
Run. Run far away from Primerica. My husband didn't make a dime with this company and turned off a lot of friends and family.

Favorite Bobby Hebert qoutes....

Mine is.....

A couple of mother's days ago he was talking to Hokie and he actually said..."When my mother birthed me." Nearly peed in my pants laughing at that one. Gotta love Bobby.

Doubt it!!!

Will Reggie ever be a pro-bowler?

I predict that he will be. He is too dangerous as a return man to not EVER make it.
Just sayin I don't feel he has lived up to his all-world hype. Is it his fault the media hyped him up so much...no. But it is what it is. Just my personal opinion. No need for the personal attacks.
But is he living up to your initial expectations?
I see a bunch of threads on here debating whether Bush is a bust or not. I think this is a good summary of both sides of the argument....

For bust...
1. Ranks very low in the league as far as running back stats go.
2. Fumbles and drops passes too much.
3. Team wins more without him.
4. Was drafted as a running back, not WR or PR.
5. Makes too much money to return punts.

Against Bust....
1. Good PR and WR.
2. Scored most TD's in NFL before injury.
3. Defenses must respect his open field capabilities.
4. His name alone has brought attention to the Saints.

I see both sides of the debate but hasn't he ultimately been a bust for the following reasons. Many experts predicted he would be a pro-bowler, possible MVP candidate. The day of the draft everyone was dogging on the Texans because they believed Bush would be the best player in the NFL. A gem that only comes along every 20 or so years. To me he has fallen well short of these expectations and it doesn't look like he will ever meet them. Doesn't this equal bust?
Yes still happy Saints picked Bush and the Texans have Williams. Williams is a beast and will be solid for a long time. RB's are a dime a dozen especially in Kubiaks scheme.

I think Haslett had that record with a lot less talent.
Read the 2009 draft picks thread.
So it seems significanlty improving through the draft is about impossible.

I am just beginning to think Peyton's first year was a fluke. IMO. Not bashing just observing. Like I said I am beginning to lose confidence in Peyton.

What is his record after his first season? One winning season in almost three years. Every year the "experts" say we are one the most talented teams in the NFL. So are the Saints really not that talented or is it coaching. :dunno: Please don't say injuries, every team has injuries. (Look at the Patriots) I really liked Payton but I am beginning to lose confidence in him.

Slightly sad to see her go. I like how tough and bitchy she was. Brought a little edge to the show. I think the suits at ABC really handled this badly.
Yall keep your hanging your hat on the idea of the winner in London wins the Superbowl....let me know how that works out for ya. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Yes it is completely unfair to not pay them. Or at least let them have a job in the offseason. I was a scholarship athlete in the 90s. I still needed money for clothes, laundry detergent, cable, books, school supplies, shoes, shampoo, deodarant, toothpaste, and other items that would come up during the semester. My parents did not have a lot of money. I had to live off whatever I made during the summer. It was very difficult. Couldn't have much of a social life either. During my junior and senior seasons I had to observe high school classes. This meant driving to the various local schools. Had no car or gas money. Fortunately I was able to bum rides from people. Anyway it would have been nice to have a job and be able to afford a small car note. It is completely unfair to not pay these athletes or at least let them have a job.
I have never seen Dogma. Didn't mean to make this political. I just find myself feeling really guitly for liking this movie so much.
I don't know any Catholic priests with Hummers?
I am Catholic. But I don't bash anyone's religious beliefs. My Mom is Methodist, My sister is southern baptist, and a brother is Aethiest. Don't like to get involved in other people religious beliefs. To each his own.
