I work from the office and work from home the same amount of time. I'm way more productive from home. Less distractions, don't have to deal with morons at the office, don't have to deal with looking presentable and following social norms. To counter GoTigers23's gotcha.. I'm not working today.
Some people are lazy and can't handle working from home without dicking off.

yeah I do a bit of a hybrid, more in office than home but can guarantee I get more done in less time from home for the reasons above.
Now if you don't have self discipline or know you can get away with doing the bare minimum from home, I can see how its a problem...this also probably has more to do with wasted office space across the country some of these larger corps have

Yep, and because they themselves are undisciplined and unmotivated, they assume that all of must be as lazy as they are… The truth is, we are not the same .. many of us are self-directed and can handle the autonomy and freedom that comes with remote work, and we actually thrive on it .
