I’ve seen enough, Guidry needs to be the closer

Not sure we have enough high-leverage righty relievers to typecast him like that.

Closer or high leverage guy? He’s going to be used in situations other than the end of games.

Per Jay there are several pitchers that can get the job done and it won’t be the job of one guy. Guidry might close some games and he might come out of the pen in the 5th.

Guidry is a high leverage, brief appearance guy. He will throw strikes and get us out of jams, but I don’t like him to have to make a two inning close. I like the way he used him tonight.
