How old are you, because I have never heard of that at any theater.

Actually... at least here... there is a chain of theaters... Malco's... that installed these long metal bins at the bottom of each row in front of you and told you to put your trash in there and to leave it. This was 30 or 40 years ago, mind you, but they did do it. This was obviously long before the days of stadium seating, reclining seats and the only things you could get were drinks, popcorn, candy and hot dogs.

But yeah, they told you to put your trash in the metal thing at the bottom of the row in front of you.
