Muriel Bowser (as mayor) is the de facto governor of DC, not the president.

We are exploring who commands the DC national guard, and whether the president of the United States requires Nancy Pelosi’s permission to call out the Guard.

You say the DC Mayor is in control of the DC National Guard. That is false. Also, the DC Mayor is not NancyPelosi. So what are you relying on for any of your dribble?

You dumbarse. The NG is under state control first. You know, the Texas Border and all those states activating NG to assist Texas. Doh!

And Pelosi was in absolute charge of the Capitol Police.
It's a wonder Pelosi's daughter was there with a film crew to record an Anti-PDJT documentary. What a coincedence.

But why are you making this argument? Whether or not he needs permission or asked and was not granted permission are separate issues. This issue at hand is who is responsible for security at the Capitol building. That person is not the president under most circumstances, including this one. Judging by your posts, it seems you would agree that person would NEED the presidents permission to get the National Guards assistance.

The next logical question would be whether that person requested or was offered that assistance. You can reject the claim that an offer was made, but whether or not the NG was needed would be made first by those charged with protecting the capitol. That is, was assistance requested and not granted?

Seeing as Pelosi is in charge of protecting the Capitol, denied (or failed to request) assistance from the president via the NG, and then spearheaded an effort to frame the president’s actions that day as leading an insurrection, I’m just not sure how you reconcile that back to any sort of failure on Trumps part to not provide that assistance against without a request or with a straight up denial.
