I thought that the enduring love this board has for unions would be triggered by this latest tidbit. UAW must think third time will be a charm in Chattanooga.
VW Workers about to FAFO
After this Jose won’t have to illegally cross the border to find a good U.S. manufacturing job.

Workers at the 3.8 million square foot (353,353 square meter) factory on Monday filed paperwork with the National Labor Relations Board seeking an election on union representation, the UAW said. They are the first to ask for a vote in the union's campaign, which was announced last fall after the UAW won strong contracts with Detroit automakers. The UAW said it would simultaneously target more than a dozen nonunion auto plants including those run by Tesla, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Honda, and others.

Yup. VW said during the last attempt to unionize that if they were successful, future models would be moved to mexico.
Since not unionizing last time, they have expanded the factory and make the Atlas/Atlas Cross Sport, and the electric ID4.
Say adios if they are successful this time.

Can't they take a hint?
Also why are they allowed to keep stirring up trouble. Two no votes should be enough.

Looks like it passed with 75% voting in favor.
Scumbag unions just got a little bit wealthier today at the cost of the Chattanooga economy...

I hope whomever brought up the union is beaten with a lead pipe in the parking lot, frick unions.

UAW will likely propose that VW accept the current UAW contracts in force at auto plants in the U.S. The other non-unionized auto makers will hope that VW doesn't roll over.

I hope every one of these automakers shutters these plants and moves them overseas.
frick unions.
