Cleveland Huntington Beach Soft Putters?

Anybody use these or have experience with them? Online they look like they are constructed well and are aesthetically pleasing and for brand new are around $150 or less. Seems like a great value for a different option.
The only real feedback from what I've read up was they are "soft" putters as the name suggests so they are better for faster greens and people who usually overshoot their distances. My distance misses are pretty much the same long vs short, perhaps marginal % shorter.
I currently have a Ping Sigma G Tyne putter, no specific issues with it, but just thinking of trying something different with a different head design. This one is an insert face compared to the milled face of the Huntington
No, I have not had a putter fitting. Yes, I am open to it, just haven't bit the bullet on paying for it lol

I won one in a raffle after a tournament a couple of years ago. I put it in the bag just to try out for a few rounds. Its still in the bag today. I like it a lot and it's done very well for me.

I have been using one the last couple of years and never putted better. My model is the short bladed mini mallet with a double bend neck (not sure what the right terminology is for that). I did add the Rickie Fowler/Wyndham Clark grip set up with a shaft extension and counter weight late last year.
I’ve made more birdies already this year than I did all of last year since I got the grip set up.

I have the center shaft model and I absolutely love it.

I have the same model, mini mallet. I have the silver one, but I do like the look of that black one too.

Mine was an impromptu purchase after a really frustrating round. I went into the pro shop at my club hit every putter in the shop… ping, Scotty, Odyssey and this one. This one felt so good. I took it out to the practice green and hit a few 10 footers in a row and was sold. I’m a brand snob, so I wasn’t keen on not using a Scotty, but the results have been undeniable.

I've never used a center shaft, not sure I even recall ever seeing a buddy have one to try out.
The only other putter I had before was a cheap top flight blade, with the hozzle offset plumber's neck, and when I upgraded a few years ago I tried a bunch of putters out at Edwin Watt's and several buddies that I played rounds with, and the mallet was much more comfortable for me. Just felt more control with the mallet vs blade

I bought a used TaylorMade mallet to try out. I have an Odyssey 2 ball center shaft. Face rolled open/close more it seems on the TM. I actually cut it to the same length as the Odyssey and need to get a weight and grip on it then try them again.
All that to say if you have trouble with a blade try a mallet.

Was looking at a Ping PLD DS72 and came across this thread. Going to check out the HB Soft 10.5 and compare the two. See online there is one at the local Dick's. Much cheaper option for a similar putter.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Like the rest of Cleveland/Srixon gear, their putters are excellent and very budget friendly.

One of my buddies I play with a good bit has an older Nike center shaft putter. After a few swings on the practice green I pulled my phone out and ordered the HB soft right then and there since the Nike is almost impossible to find.

I have the HB big mallet and played the semi mallet for years. It’s a great putter and I’m an average putter who never practices. I rarejy3 putt but probably don’t make as many 10-15 footers as I should. I like the fat grip and would like to try the extended shaft with counterweight

Tried the HB Soft 10.5 at Dick's. Did not like the OS Grip. Prefer a pistol grip. Still thinking about pulling the trigger and just switching the grips. Or to just buy the Ping DS72 that I like for 3x the cost.
Really wish I could compare them side to side.
