We rarely saw them as kids - maybe got 1 or 2 each year. I only learned about shining for them at night in the last few years. When my youtuber friend first flew down here 4 years ago and wanted to look for them at night, I was like, “Why don’t we just go look for a needle in a haystack?” I didn’t realize they stick out like a sore thumb at night. Sometimes old dogs learn new tricks.
