Yeah, the second verse ends with "He was headed down to Knoxville with the weekly load/You could smell the whiskey burning down Copperhead Road."
I learned a few years back that there was a real life Copperhead Road in Johnson County, TN (very northeast tip of the state). They ended up renaming it Copperhead Hollow Road because people kept stealing the street signs.
