It's a fun song. I like it but....
There are contradictory lines in the song that always bothered me as a writer
"was before my time but I've been told, you could smell the whiskey burnin down Copperhead Road" then there's this: "him and my uncle tore that engine down, I still remember that rumblin sound"

Auggie that's not how the song goes. The part about "before his time" is in reference to the tax man.
