Anyone ever been fitted by James Leitz?

I’ve heard a lot of good things. His fitting questionnaire is really comprehensive.
I did a club champion fitting last year and had a pretty bad experience.

I did. I think Leitz is brilliant. So I’ll start with that
But at my “fitting” he simply put me in Taylor made stealth stock everything. I never even hit a single other club or shaft So it was pretty much a complete waste
If you aren’t below a 5 handicap I think he just doesn’t actually beleive in it. That’s the feeling I got

The fact that they only fit off of a 6 iron is why I wont go see them.

Ate people fitting off of more than just the 6i?

Yes I went through most of the bag with my fitter. Some was at my own expense buying and trying different shafts in FW and driver. It took a while, I would say 3-4 weeks of try this try that on simulator, then try out on the course. It was time consuming and rather frustrating at times, but worth every penny and every ounce of frustration.
I say that to say yes people fit with more than the 6 iron. I went through the CC mess and got stuck in a set of irons and driver that weren't the right shaft or length. I wasn't making that mistake again.
I would go see bebu in NO or drive to JL. Start there. Get a second option, they all do it different. You will eventually hit a club and say that's it.
