They are a projected 5-6 seed. They aren't falling all the way to a play-in game because of one meaningless loss in the conf. tournament.
They’ve lost 3 out of their last 4 games. Limping to the finish line.

You never know what the next year can bring you at a place like McNeese, so the biggest job that is a fit is going to be where he goes. He is not going to spend another year at McNeese.

bet, unless a blueblood offers him, he will be at mcneese next year. Year after....prolyl not, but it will have to be a place he can win an NC and pays atleast 2.5million.

I would be all for it. He would probably leave us eventually but that's fine

I agree with this. Will is thankful for what the McNeese admin has done for him, and he’s going to stick around one more season unless a really good offer comes along. He’s already shown what he can do at 4 different stops now. He doesn’t have to prove anything next season to have his name in the coaching search lists a year from now. What he showed in year 1 at McNeese (after 3 great runs at previous schools) has offered him the luxury of being picky this offseason and not just looking for the first ticket out of town.

In 2 years WW will be taking Louisville to their 2nd straight final 4.

…If they are smart.

he will end up at NC State or Louisville or somewhere like that soon

This! Louisville went the safe and homer hiring of Payne…I think they will target someone like Wade, maybe the firing of Payne came a year or two early as far as pulling the trigger on Wade. But it’s going to be someone like him or Nate Oates

Is he stuck at McNesse next year? Some bigger program will throw big dollars at him if he’s not.

he wants to be at mcneese next year. now after that he will pursue a bigger job but he isnt just taking any bigger job. he is going to be picky and with what he will be making, he has that luxury

i explained already in the thread...his little girl is of school age now, they are not going to bounce all over the place with her.

Which program values regular season success over tournament success?

That rules out LSU/Woody. They no longer value either.
