Yeah, I regret cheering for the move. I rather it sooner if there isn't going to be any rain.

Overthinking things that have been proven to be unpredictable. When it works, it works. When it doesn’t, you look like a fool. Especially so when you could move it into the weather window that you were trying to avoid 14 hours earlier.

Way too early of a change if they are basing the decision solely on predicted weather data. Could be other factors obviously. Local HS just canceled a game for Friday and 40% chance and less than half predicted. Pretty big game with other ceremonial pregame events planned.

Heading up to Starkville Friday. Looking like rain there. Anyone think that game time could get changed?

If JJ has anything to do with it. JK

Seriously though, Lemonis could choose some gamesmanship in this spot. They dropped a game last night and he is on the hot seat from what I hear. Probably moved back if I had to guess.

I can now stream our game in my room at the Beau Rivage and from my window can watch the Miss St -UNO game in the Biloxi Shuckers stadium.

They had won 9 straight heading into last night. They have a gauntlet to start SEC as well. LSU, Florida, Tennessee IIRC. 3 wins out of 9 would be a huge W for them

Hope we get to see Jurangelo their switch pitcher who i beleieve is their Sunday starter

What does any of this have to do with anything? What does him being on the "hot seat" have to do with gamesmanship and weather? What gamesmanship would be involved? What does all of this mean?

Yeah that run definitely helped him for now but those games that should be winning.

3/9 start probably does him in IMO. Big boosters aren’t impressed with things.

Flipping your pitching rotation. Changing scheduled starting times. All of which are things that can be and are done to give you a little more of a home field advantage.

Still have to play the games if weather allows it which it looks like it will Sat-Mon. Didn’t mean to confuse you.

There won't be any games on Monday, I do know that for sure.

I think my favoriite part of that is when people said...hey this sucks they were met with the classic..YOU DON'T GET BASEBALL bullshite... like afternoon starts are totally normal despite us not having opening day 1 pm games in recent memory...even the announcers commented on how odd it was

“This place” isn’t a person. It’s a lot of people with a lot of different opinions and preferences.

If they start the SEC slate 3-6 and are 15-11 overall after finishing dead last in the SEC the past 2 years, I don't care if it's reasonable, his seat will be scorching hot. There are no off weeks in the SEC. They'd still have remaining series against Vandy, Alabama, Arkansas, and their rival Ole Miss. Starting in the hole 6 games when they'll need probably 14 wins to make the tournament isn't where they want to be.
