The first run of "America's First" ended in unemployment, riots, and inflation.

I'm still waiting to see how this put us first.

- IF desantis could lead, he'd be leading in the primary right? Seems like you need to take some of your own advice.

Thanks to the democrats. Don't leave that out. Again, if desantis was a better candidate he'd be in the primary race. He's not. Get over it.

Really? Seal the border. Don't let the vermin in. Help Ukraine AFTER we've helped all Americans that need help.

One can bitch about a bunch of VP speculation if that's all one has; it's still a free country.

OTH, I -for one- can't argue with a word she says...

Holy shite, this is SDVtiger territory...

Leadership is what you do in office. The act of getting elected is a popularity contest,

And you are a psycho so there is that.

Trump is alright as an entertainer. As a politician, not so much.

You dislike his flaws and failures being discussed. You demand rainbows and unicorns.

It's not going to be that way. Come to terms with that and you'll be less angry and have fewer murder fantasies.

I think.

Really? Interesting. Was desantis able to "lead" and convince people he was the better candidate? Doesn't appear so. How is that my fault that he can't convince me?

Bernie preaches your message better than Trump.

America's first isnt a new ideal.
quote:

The America First Committee was founded in 1940 by a group of Yale students, many of whom would go on to distinguished careers, and funded by prominent Chicago business leaders. It was one of the largest peace organizations in U.S. history, with more than 800,000 registered members.

It was a true coalition of left and right. America First included Sinclair Lewis, the novelist, e.e. cummings, the poet, Walt Disney, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Norman Thomas, the socialist leader. Joseph Medill Patterson, the liberal publisher of the New York Daily News, was a member, as was his cousin, Robert. R. McCormick, who published the conservative Chicago Tribune. Its best known member was a genuine American hero, Col. Charles A. Lindbergh, who became the public face of the America First movement.

It was borne out of elite colleges and dreamers.

Has nothing to do with leadership these days. Voters are more interested in the sizzle than the steak. I mean, just look at the number on this board that want Vivek to be VP.

Ok. Does Trump preaching it make it less true? If not, why are you complaining?

Ok, does that make it less true or important? What other presidential candidate has openly proposed an America First agenda?

You should probably come to terms with the fact that desantis ain't gonna be the nominee and you might be less angry. I don't fantasize about murder, though I could enjoy watching another Flaming Lib or two or three or ... Especially if one of them were you.

At this point there are 2 choices. Trump or the democrat (maybe biden, maybe not). While not perfect, Trump is a much better option than biden. Sounds like you support biden and want to pay more for everything.

What has two thumbs and asked to be the one to set me on fire?

Your anger and murder fantasies are all out there for the world to see.

Psychotic behavior is sad. Seek help. Seriously.

And yall LOVE being a pompous, pretentious, condescending, arrogant, elitist, better-than-thou, smug, know-it-all. The proof is in the pudding. If you were really as smart as you claim, you'd be more successful. Instead of just an unlikeable a-hole.
