I love Joshua Tree, but U2 seem to have become something they didn’t want. The Sphere concept in Las Vegas is gaudy AF, but I’d still go see it. The U2 of the 80s wouldn’t like that shite.

They got flashy in the 90s, then something changed. Music became rote and loud, tho the concerts were awesome. But now they don’t look happy doing their stuff.

From who are U2 taking their marching orders, now? Is Saint Bono being prodded to say some of the stupid shite he does about American politics?

I think they keep doing it because it’s, well, what they do.

I think I have read that Larry Mullen Jr. hates Bono’s guts with a passion and interacts with him as infrequently as possible.
