Small city of Clanton. Every Friday and Saturday night tons of teenagers would ride the strip through main street. Bumper to bumper. Crowds all in the parking lots. Parked along the streets. Low riders. Jacked up 4x4s. Big bass systems. Not a cell phone anywhere. Kids from cities all around would come to ride through and hangout. It was awesome. Kids today don’t have a clue about any of it. Really sad

Can confirm it was like this in Clanton back in the day & I may have made a trip or 2 to the bar that I think was named Silver Steer or something like that would let us in & drink underage

It was also like this on Atlanta hwy in Montgomery but was just a little more spread out & we spent most of it hanging out behind the fountain that routinely got soaped

Also spent time at Club DV8 Paradise Theater & Bama Lanes

Clanton and Montgomery were a couple places that was inviting for all folks to show up and hang back in the day
