It's hard to be worse than Ronna McDaniel but why did Trump handpick a GOPE bushie?
We have got to bridge this divide between MAGA and the GOPe if we are ever going to hope to beat the Democrats. Hopefully, after the 3-years of the Biden regime everyone can start pulling together. Someone has to be able to build a coalition because the infighting can't continue if there is any hope for success in November.

Prior to his work with the Republican Party, Whatley served as a federal law clerk, a senior official in the President George W. Bush administration and as the chief of staff for former Sen. Elizabeth Dole, R-N.C. He also served as a senior adviser to the 2000 Bush-Cheney campaign, Florida Recount and Transition Teams, as well as the Trump-Pence campaign and transition teams.

I can't wait for the "who could have known he was an establishment guy? No loyalty!" howls.
Maybe so, BUT lots of today Republicans were Bush/Cheney people then because that was the ticket.
On the positive side of being there at that time, he saw first hand the level of manipulation the Democrats will go to steal an election so maybe he is still sour and cautious about giving lawfare and Democrats any slack.

I don't disagree but I wasn't someone calling my opponents Democrats and groomers and other things because they had former Bush officials on staff or talked to Bush campaign officials.

Thankfully, the divide is imaginary as MAGA is establishment AF.
It's MAGA sycophants sold on the idea they're part of a movement that's "fighting the establishment" and "draining the swamp" that are experiencing tummy aches over this obvious reality.

I voted or George W. Bush.
