Yep, and the citizens of San Francisco are getting the results that they voted for.

The cities are a byproduct of progressive social policy.
Some rich people living in gated communities, very few middle class (impossible to afford) and an exploding underclass that will devour whats left of these cities within 10 years.
Progressive social policy is the path to dystopia.
Look at California as th model for the nation. Half the kids in LA county schools are functionally illiterate.

The Democrats are terrible, but if we brought back freedom of association, the cities would gradually become better, even under democrats. Pipe dream, though.
