Weird to think that Jay/Yeskie look like they’re gaining more trust in newcomers rather than the retuning guys

Last night he went to Ack first out of the pen. Tonight he goes to Herring and Guidry.
If you’re referring to starting the preseason All-American and a potential All-American newcomers, doesn’t seem that weird.

Mark this down. Herring won't be at LSU next season. His ERA was near 4 last season but LSU staff was thin. This year, LSU has used 19 pitchers and I don't see Herring as being one of the better ones. His ERA now I believe is 10.5 after his poor showing tonight and the last game before this one.

I think Herring did really well last year when we would pitch a flame thrower righty and then he would come in to finish. Other than the CWS game where he did really well after following Ack.

Don't know how many batters he hit last season, but just counting hits and walks, his WHIP was 1.5...not very good IMNO.

And rightfully so. Their performances back it up. What’s weird is that you think it’s weird that they trust the guys who are performing the best.
