I don’t see McMahon allowing Cook to stay on the team while refusing to play. Just from a team morale standpoint that would be stupid. Especially since he benched him earlier for his play. And what would sitting have to do with transferring. Can he even transfer a 3rd time? And who would want a head case like that? None of this makes any sense.

Yes if he graduates at the end of this year. Eligibility wise he's a junior BUT it would be his fourth year of college. Meaning he could earn a degree and be immediately eligible as a grad transfer.

I don’t think it is that Cook is “refusing” to play. It’s that he’s not going to do so unless he feels 100%. In other words, he’s not wanting to play through injury
