I doubt the judge has the balls to do the right thing with all of the overwhelming evidence since he worked for Fani Willis at one time.

It is a clown show with hearsay, gossip, backstabbing former friends or colleagues.
This is how much MAGA defendants fear this Rico case. Hail Mary legal storytelling from the defendants.
Delay, smear, lie, all in play to misdirect attention from the former president's illegal election fraud in 2020.
This is setup to drag things out to keep the trial off schedule and use the legal system to create smoke for an appeal to higher courts again for delay.

I'm not a lawyer so I'm sure I'm missing something. To me it just boils down to two things and this guy is hitting on it, but first where are the cash back receipts from Publix? Where are the bank withdrawal records of large sums of cash for Fani to hide in her house? There has to be a record of something, even cash. The second thing is that's it's ridiculous to think that she hired Wade, paid him hundreds of thousands of dollars, and he didn't spend that money on these trips. If that's his income, how could he not spend that money on his girlfriend who is using the state to pay him? It seems like a simple open and shut conflict of interest

Even if the judge tries to split the baby by, say, only throwing out the DA off and allowing the State's case to move forward, that in itself seems like a fatal blow to the State that would not survive scrutiny - they would have to walk away...

I have halfway been following this.
Can someone just give me a summary of what exactly the defense is asking for and on what basis?
Are they asking that all charges be dismissed, that the Fulton County DAs office be removed from the case - both, or something else?
And is the basis for this that Willis was enriching herself by hiring her lover and funneling all this cash and benefits to him and her through funds from the case?
