The House Oversight Committee has issued a subpoena to Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Congressional investigators are seeking all materials related to Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Biden’s classified documents case.

Hur essentially found Biden to have committed no wrongdoing due to his feeble memory and his age—which just raises more questions about Joe Biden’s fitness to lead this country.

Garland’s DOJ has been particularly moot on Biden’s numerous scandals, and it is clear that the DOJ is providing cover for America’s Resident-in-Chief.

The House Judiciary GOP announced on Tuesday: “Jim Jordan and Rep. James Comer subpoena Attorney General Merrick Garland for records, including transcripts, notes, video, and audio files, related to Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation of President Joe Biden’s willful mishandling of classified information.”

For those of you who don’t pay attention, here’s how this will play out:

> Merrick will turn over a few documents
> GOP will demand more
> Merrick will ignore them
> GOP will saber rattle and do nothing more

Except for Mayorkas, Garland is probably the best obfuscater I’ve ever seen.

He’ll answer nothing.

They (GOP) run the same play every election year. They'll let the clock run out and Garland will skate free.

And if he doesn't comply, what then?

Are we still doing this?

He will lie or obfuscate and nothing will be done.

Or he'll just ignore it knowing the Republicans won't do anything about it

What can they do?

Honest question.

The founders did a wonderful job creating checks and balances- but when all 3 branches are corrupt, then what? I don't see any possible way to save the republic. Except one.

Unfortunately this is pretty much correct. Especially the last one

The talking and strongly-worded letters are going to be borderline uncivil.

Yep. I like it to a soap opera. Dramatic twists and turns, good acting, and never ending.

You are correct. You’re also giddy about it.
