DC or no DC the Tigers are gonna be hungry to show everyone what they are made of and play the best game of the year in my opinion. People tend to forget that this team did not have their normal bye schedule due to the hurricane season.

Not tryin to hate, but I don't think the bye week had much to do with us going 7-5. I've learned to keep my expectations low this season, and they've been getting lowered each week.

Everyone loves to scream with play in the tougest conference and when the team begins to fall apart at the end of the year, like the 2007 defense, it's because Pelini forgot how to coach. Not that the entire defense was crippled.

So then during the year they were not hungry and did not want to show what they were made of until now????

he's been dragging arse for the better part of a month on account of the powers that be running him into the ground when we have another back who should have been getting 10 totes a game as well (KW...i don't get all the dick murphy hype).

I was watching some early season highlights and he looks heavier now too FWIW.

chuck was slowed down after the bama game but our line also was busy being vags in the troy, ole miss and arky games. They contributed much to him not racking up yards late due to horrible blocking.

I don't even know if rest is enough for our d esp with the drink buddies staying so they can get a bowl bonus which they dont deserve. this team quit so why would they play now?

Totally agree, this team esp. the defense has zero faith in the coaches ability to help them succeed. No coaching leadership and no Senior leaders to make them play for pride. This will not be resolved till drunk and drunker are gone.

our only shot is a shoot out with tech. hopefully the younger players will want to win. its clear our d doesn't give a frick about winning. I hope they prove me wrong and crush tech but Im not sure if we can get our team back until next year

I think you have great optimism. That's admirable.

However, you can find similar posts before every game last season. We didn't dominate anyone except for UNT and APP state. Our team has not shown the ability to dominate anyone. It doesn't mean we don't support them or go to the game if we can. We just have to hope that they get motivated to play sound football, because it will be the raw talent of this football team that keeps us in this game...it certainly won't be coaching.

There wasn't one. This team didn't put a single complete game together all year.

None of you apparently took the time to read the article in the advocate.

They will be rested and ready and they will win.
