Cops are either directly taking orders to kill this case or can read the tea leaves to know that their asses will be in trouble if they don’t drop it.
In a functional society, this would be where a federal case gets involved because the locals can’t or won’t do it due to corruption.

It's time some heads of these trans thugs start being cracked. They only act out like this because they are being protected and allowed to, as is evident here.
