There are a bunch of other games this weekend at the box. Some in the mornings, like 9:30, and others at night. Northwestern State is playing in the 4 team rotation as well. And in advance, it gives us a better chance to get all our games in if weather is bad. The weather is pretty good so, I guess, better safe than sorry.

Plenty of night time games on the schedule, I like having these early unimportant games on during the work days

Not every LSU sporting event is able to be played at night

Go listen to any of the 5 interviews with Jay Johnson. He literally says everytime it has to do with the temperatures and easier to get the games in with the weather. Eventually we will get the night games as the season moves into the warmer months. As long as the weather is not showing a night time rain forecast.
