Ethical arguments are unserious and shouldn't be listened to when they don't account for real world realities, like couples struggling with infertility desperate to build a family. Those folks don't even have the privilege of being able to (naturally) consider such ethical questions.

Exactly right. This is a fundamental truth whether people want to face it or not. IVF is inherently evil because it kills human embryos. It is disordered and will lead to further destruction of human dignity and life.

The slippery slope at hand isn’t one about people being charged for murder for killing embryos. Rather, the slippery slope is how far IVF will let eugenics and the government go for “designing” its populace.
