Please go tell these major leaguers they aren’t using proper technique

Cool, I could go cherry pick just as many that are hiding the hand. Are you an Ell alter?
And I just had to come back to say, please show the class where I said anything about having the hand out front. Use examples

A poster said this
And you wanted to be a smartass and responded with this
All of LSU’s catchers use the same technique. It’s taught at the upper levels of baseball.

caught in college. kept my hand pretty much where Brady does. Felt like it allowed for a smoother transition and throwing motion.

So where did I say it was wrong or that he needed to move his hand? If you weren't such a moron, you would see that I agreed with the reasoning of the position while acknowledging that it puts the hand at greater risk. I don't know how I could be proven more right with the dude taking one off the hand in consecutive games.

He took the foul ball to the hand in top of the 3rd after throwing out a runner. Hit the GS in bot of 3rd. Milazzo came in to catch in top of the 4th.

News flash, catcher’s get dinged up over the course of a weekend

You must be strong to carry those goalposts

You certainly cherry picked a few photos one that was during warmups, one that looks like the pitcher hasn’t even thrown it, and another that was after the batter had finished his swing and he was transferring the ball.
There’s hundreds of ways to skin a cat but the most dangerous is putting your hand in front of your body.

That’s right, is Choupique19 gonna tell Yadi he was doing it wrong?

Thanks but is there not a little shoulder pad to protect that spot?
I can make him one if needed

Reason being is that if your hand is behind your back the flesh above your shoulder is tighter and a ball that hits there will do more damage
Incorrect. He keeps his hand there because it makes more a quicker transition to throw out the runner. He is not keeping it there because of his shoulder lmfao.
Ignorance thy name is TheBanana.

man.. tough scene out there
Is there any point in blocking the ball like that with nobody on base?
Its like guys who hang in there and take the HBP with 3 balls. You're either walking or getting HBP. Ill take the BB
