I live in Atlanta and was out for lunch and the black table beside me with 4 (probably college age kids) were raving about them. I didn’t strike a conversation with them or anything.. just heard and observed them talking about it while looking at their phones

Probably because regular people will buy those shoes. Especially the solid gold colored ones. While Hunter Biden's art was sold at insane prices to anonymous elites.. which fall in line with him going through various schemes to sell his dad's position to the highest bidders.
