Criticism Not Allowed on the Rant

Being fairly new here, just an observation - anyone who is the least bit critical of Miles, the season, etc. is ripped apart on this board. All of a sudden being critical makes you not a real fan and/or worth living.
Can you really NOT ever be allowed to express criticism?! It seems like the Rant is becoming more like Red China!

People aren't bashing those who make critical posts. Regulars here are just getting really tired of seeing the same posts over and over again. Most of these posts don't provide any evidence to support their claims, and, if they do provide evidence, it's usually wrong.

Criticism is just fine as long as there is objective thought involved. The kind of criticism I usually see on here is based on one season of a bad convergence of events. I was critical of the defense in the first game I watched this year, and knew it did not bode well. But all these idiots who are saying we will not have a new DC and Miles is protecting his buddies is just stupid and makes no sense in the face of what has been reported. Let's put it this way. If we go into next year with no changes made, I will be just as critical of Miles, even though I like him and respect him. Its just this chicken little bullshite that nothing will ever be right again that is baseless and makes them appear immature and stupid. Do I want a better season next year? You bet. And I believe we will get it.

I don't think I said anything about people being on the fence. I was just pointing out that people who post threads that are deemed negative (see negatiger) are usually ripped apart. Examples - threads criticizing JL or Miles or anything.
My only point - being critical about a 7-5 season doesn't make you less of an LSU fan

I dont think being critical of the team and Coach Miles is the problem. It is the way in which it is done.
In my opinion, after the Bama game the Tigers appeared to have lack of dicipline and if this is so I hope the problem gets corrected. This is okay.
But if you come here and say "the players are nothing but a bunch of thugs and they are not worth a shite and Miles is the biggest douche bag ever and he needs to be fired and Jarrett Lee is a fig and no one on this team has self control and they just need to all go" then you deserve to get banned.
NOTE: The second example was JUST an example and I dont really mean it.

Its because the majority of the "fire Miles'" threads are based on nothing but some idiots opinions that never posted here while they were winning but decided to bless us with their coaching knowledge after one bad season. And then they hide behind the label of "realist".
