Asik. Absolutely terrible. Then he got a parasite in Mexico and that was the end of his career. Thankfully we have Jonas now.

The Omer asik 5 yr 50 million extension is one of the most baffling contracts I can think of. We all were hopeful he was gonna be a good fit for us. I remember watching him dominate with the turkey nation team and this board was so high on him.... then we saw him play with us and anyone could see it just wasnt gonna work, and we still went ahead and did it.

For sure, at least arguments could have been made at the time for the others mentioned. The Solo signing was a head scratcher pretty much immediately. He got paid based on playing well defensively for one playoff series vs Lebron. Sure, we desperately needed a 3 and D wing; but Solo could never shoot threes with any sort of consistency.
