Is he throwing shade at the O-line?

he was hurt the entire first half of the season

Yall don’t find the float and some of the crap thrown his way a little distasteful? It’s not like he came here and straight didn’t care. Dude got the shite beat out of him and still kept playing hurt and improved through the season. I get his contract but it’s not like it’s a Russel Wilson type bad situation. Even Winston came here and did the best he could. Just seems shitty and low class to me.

They are partially to blame. He is to blame for the other part for holding onto the ball too long and not making quicker reads/decisions.

It is shitty and low class. People hear his contract numbers and automatically assume he's 1 of the highest paid players in the league because they don't care enough to do a 5 minute google search. They also act as if they are directly paying a portion of his salary and he's the only one that needed to improve on the team.

I find what Carr's agent did to Loomis and the Saints org a little distasteful. Could've at least taken them to dinner first.

he is tho

14th highest paid player LINK
Next you will use the daniel jones / desean watson contracts to justify our FO's shitty decisions. "Look how stupid these other teams are. Makes it ok for us to be stupid too"

He’s paid exactly in line with his production dumbass

Where the hell are some of you people from? It's a typical satirical Mardi Gras float. You take it in good fun. Carr certainly seemed to.

Who gives a F about fantasy production. Especially when you are comparing him to guys that played a small fraction of the season?

I made no comment about the float, dickwad. you care to have an informed discussion about production vs. compensation or are you a retard as well?

did you seriously just link all fantasy player production when talking about QB salaries?

You knew what I was saying, but figured you put this out there as a gotcha because when it comes to Carr, you fit the description from the OP.
14th highest paid, as in 14 out of 32 starting QBs. So they top 43.75% of his position.
Are Jones & Watson not paid mor than Carr? Did I say it was ok for the team to over-pay and over-guarantee his contract? I have said, that when put into context he is paid as an average starting QB and he has given average returns...and that was when his cap hit was actually only $7.2M so his burden on the cap at that time was actually 21st amongst QBs and 206th highest paid 2023 cap hit

of course he/she did - whatever they need to justify their shitty takes on the team.

Carson Wentz is #2 on that list so you know it’s very legit.

keep in mind that you are talking to the 2nd dumbest poster on the Saints board
Let's look at a 2023 stat that matters (QBR)
Carr # 16
Now let's look at salaries
Carr # 13/14
seems like his salary is pretty close to his production

May I introduce you to the city of New Orleans?

ESPN QB stats
QB salary AAV
Weird how Justin Herbert, Hurts, Wilson are in the top 5 AAV and Carr is solidly at #13 AAV in line with his passing yards of 13th overall and above all of those players.
Passing TD's? Ranked 10th above Stafford, Hurts, Lamar, Herbert etc as well
