How is Woody’s “swinging for the fence” hire doing in college station, one tournament appearance in 5 years?

Lsu basketball is not a program where you can just go spend money and get a good coach. First, we aren’t outspending the top tier of our conference. The formula was to find someone on the rise who could do the things necessary to build a program.

I’m on your team hating firing Pear. I’m well documented with my love for sweet Pear.

Still I’m just puzzled by the “Woodward can do no wrong” eye roll. Jeremy foley is a legend but made plenty of bad hires at Florida. shite just happens. If Kelly’s tenure goes downhill, then you’re talking about a completely different legacy. I doubt that happens though.

I think lsu is going to be an enticing job now that the ncaa can’t witch hunt us and the big 12 is in dire straights with its future. Lots of good coaches there at jobs with less resources.

Also Woodward spends like a house wife on Xanax online shopping so I would be surprised if LSU didn’t offer something substantial

As far as buzz at A&M, that’s a classic example of the best you can get. They’ve sucked arse for 100 years and reed arena is a dump
